"Halleli" Rosh Chodesh Project
* "Halleli" Rosh Chodesh Project will be based on festive meetings on the First-of-the-Month holidays ("Rosh Chodesh"). Set to begin in February 2006, each meeting will focus on a different subject connected to the question of the place of women in the Jewish community, and will include both study and group discussion. We envision a framework of empowerment that will enable women from the southern periphery to clarify their own aspirations with regard to their place in the community, and that will encourage women to work on behalf of women. The project is intended both for women who work in their communities on behalf of greater involvement for women, and for those who are interested in such activity, but who lack the support needed to pursue it. Tzahali: Pre-Army Preparatory Course for Religious Young Women
* Tzahali: Pre-Army Preparatory Course for Young Religious Women - As a result of the significant rise in the number of religious women choosing to enlist in the IDF in recent years, we are working on opening a pre-induction course for religious women – "Tzahali" - for the academic year 2006-2007. The subject stands at this point as a work-in-progress in relation to the IDF and the Defense Ministry, Alumah, Midreshet Ein-HaNetziv and other agencies.
